Bus Service

San Jose to Siqurres. Option 1: ask driver to let you off at Herediana Junction (if you do not check baggage into the bottom of the bus) or Option 2: go to the bus station in Siquirres.

Limon to San Jose:  Option 1: go to the bus station in Siquirres. Option 2: ask driver to let you off at Herediana Junction (if you do not check baggage into the bottom of the bus).

Taxi Service from Siquirres and Herediana Junction

A taxi (capacity 4 persons) is about 10,000 colones from Siquirres bus station and 8,000 colones from Herediana Junction (ask us about a recommended driver we work with).

Driving

San Jose to Limon: turn right at flashing lights at Herediana Junction (about 7 km, 4.5 miles before Siquirres) in the direction of Alegria. 

Limon to San Jose: turn left at flashing lights at Herediana Junction (about 7 km, 4.5 miles after Siquirres).

From Herediana Junction: Go up road toward Alegria about 4 km, 2.5 miles and turn right at Bar El Cruce. In the direction of Porton de Iberia.  Continue straight and arrive at the town San Bosco.  Turn left after the Bienvenidas welcome painted onto a right on the right side.  Continue straight (although road curves) along winding road.  Then, you will enter Union Rio Perla over a nice small bridge.  Up the hill turn left at the small school an up the mountain.  The green gate to the Stablo is about 500 meters up the mountain on the right, and on the left another km is the Posada Rustica.
